Cultivating adaptive leadership for sustainable organisations and thriving ecosystems

Our world has become increasingly complex, fast and unpredictable.

Expectations on leadership have shifted significantly and traditional approaches have reached the end of their shelf-life.

We have come to understand that every decision affects the whole ecosystem and recognise that organisations must build their strategy around more courageous conversations and include diverse voices and stakeholder groups.

Developing your leadership is merely accumulating more competencies but understanding yourself in context and what you're called to contribute.

This can be achieved through advancing the complexity of your thinking, our emotional intelligence and the ability to hold multiple perspectives.

How is this different to other coaching approaches?

Generative Cultures was established to partner with and coach leaders in exploring the fundamental leadership questions of this time, and how our worldviews and mental models may hold us in place.

I offer an experiential learning setting both on my farm in South Gippsland (1.5 hrs outside Melbourne), on-site and on-line. Stretch experiences and the adult development based Immunity to Change® coaching approach enable a deep immersion into the questions below:

  • What are the unique challenges I am faced with as a leader and how do they impact myself and my team?

  • Where am I leading from, what experiences have shaped my understanding of the world?

  • How do I need to show up to navigate those challenges? What am I not seeing?

Through facilitated conversations and workshops that generate a blueprint of the mindset and behaviours needed to traverse the constantly changing environment, teams gain a deep understanding and commitment to the need for change - both on a personal and a collective level - and as a result become more connected to the overall purpose of the organisation they are a vital part of.

Grounded in contemporary behaviour change research and adult development approaches, coupled with experience in leadership development and culture change  across the globe, we provide leaders with the insights and tangible skills to respond to the demands of today's and tomorrow's challenges.

We acknowledge and pay our respects to the Traditional Custodians of the land we walk on, specifically within Southern Gippsland, The Bunurong and the Gunaikurnai people. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and future and continually recognise the contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and organisations in Land and Natural Resource Management.
